How on earth would he know that number?

Body count? As in number of prior partners or serial killer body count?

No on both for me. Yikes.

A friend from college didn't get married until he was in his late 50s. I'm sure he was well over 200.

But usu they don’t share this info

And if hot hockey player, I’d fall in line.

Stinky hockey players with their desperate, needy girl groupies following them around campus, their hotels, after games. Losers on both sides.

Do people really share body counts, even men? I’ve never shared that with my husband though I’m pretty sure he could make a good guess. Divorced guys might exchange Tinder stories but I’m sure some lying is involved.

I think some people find it impressive or simply a regular lifestyle and others see it as revolting gutter behavior. I'm surprised someone is on the fence! It's like an undecided voter in this presidential election.

And I’m not interested in just being number 141.

If you are vaccinated and he doesn’t have warts (which is showing 6 months after and body tends to clear them on its own) then your risk is low. There are also flavored condomes you could use first few months. Most people have HPV but if he used condomes he wouldn’t have multiple types

I would be very concerned for herpes and hepatitis though

I don’t trust that someone that is okay with sleeping with 140 people is going to always use condoms. Poor judgement and careless treatment of sex. Probably has adhd. This type of behavior highlights impulsiveness.

And I don’t want a condom in my mouth, flavored or not.

Anonymous wrote:I slept with about 100 men before I met my husband. I've been with him over 30 years and he's the only person I've slept with since. I've never shared this with him and I have no idea how many people he slept with before he met me. It was not relevant to getting serious and committing to someone. I think if someone is sharing this when you are getting to know each other, it's weird. I don't talk about my sex life with anyone. My point is that the number doesn't matter, it's the attitude. What's the point of letting you know? A brag(and why)? A warning? Also, check yourself for STDs.

Wait, so you slept with 100 guys *before* Tinder and Obama and the general decline of Western civilization? Wow, that’s really saying something.

Yuck. I would struggle with that knowledge. And let's be honest, you'll just be a number to him pretty soon.

No. Why? Because he is discusting and immature.

I would consider it disrespectful and immature to a) inquire about or b) share that information. That alone is a no-go.

Ironically the guy I know with the highest number (well over 140) is one of very few men I know who has never cheated and is also the most devoted husband I know.

You've posted this on other threads, and it was BS there, too.

I'm a sex-positive person, and this is a nope from me. 140 "partners" represents a ridiculously high turnover for someone in the age range of people I'd date, even at the high end. Unless you're a sex worker/pr0n artist, this level of sexuality starts to suggest using sex/other people's bodies as a sort of drug or distraction. I don't want my body to be treated that way.

I also don't want to date an unrecovered addict, and if they're proud of their "body count" they probably haven't done the work to unpack it.
