In virtually any retail establishment, when the employees automatically say "Welcome in!"

It just annoys the hell out of me and they ALL say it

Mine is odd, so bear with me. I’ve noticed that couples in most advertisements I see are interracial. Thats fine, advertisers are trying to broaden their demographics and reach, however, these interracial couples almost never feature black women. Its like they’re trying to box them out ,or say they don’t have spending power or that they can’t be in a couple for some reason.

I’m an older white guy and while I 100% believe in equality I wouldn’t consider myself woke. I guess I just don’t like feeling like they’re treated unfairly and I’ve started removing the adds from my stream.

Frustrated is a better word to use than angry, IMHO.

Lately I find certain service employees a little bit frustrating. For example, I'm the only one waiting in line at the pharmacy counter (pick a store) and there are 4-6 people behind the counter, and they see me standing there, but no one comes to help me. I can tell they are having that "I helped the last customer, so you get off your ass and help this one" raging silent battle and I am caught in the crossfire. I've waited for 10 minutes sometimes waiting to be acknowledged. It's a first world problem for sure, but I'm finding this more and more, and yeah: it's frustrating.

When people park in the fire lane or at the curb to run in to a store like Starbucks, Chipotle, or the post office. Please park in a parking spot instead of clogging up traffic and blocking sightlines for pedestrians.

It used to make me irate but now I'm only moderately aggrieved.

When drivers making a left don’t pull into the intersection to let the cars behind them going straight pass.

When cyclists ride on the road when there is a bike lane adjacent to the road.

These are both rational to me!

I really cannot stand the "you're just jealous" excuse for absolutely everything. Yes, there are limited situations where someone criticizes someone who has something they want because they are, in fact, just jealous. But there are lots and lots of situations where someone makes a perfectly valid argument against a behavior or a group, and the response is "you're just jealous" because it's easier than actually addressing the complaint. It's so lazy.

I love an apple or banana as part of a breakfast on the go and I always assume it annoys people but because I think people are weird about food mess and are grossed out when I have to tuck my apple core or banana peel into a plastic bag and put it in my purse until I can find a trash can.

It has never occurred to me that they might think I'm showing off. That's hilarious. Because I'm eating fruit??? I drink like three cokes a day and also often the fruit is there to counterbalance the fact that the rest of my meal was like a pop tart or a cheese danish or something.

Oh yeah, definitely an annoying side effect of legalization/decriminalization. The Baltimore Aquarium smelled so strongly of weed and BO when I went there over the summer (first time since Covid) that I kept having to clear my nose by smelling a scented hand sanitizer in my purse.

My children who have no appreciation for their travel opportunities. I would have killed to travel as much as they do and they literally order chicken nuggets every where we go.

LOL, when alone, I do sometimes "study" the pasta sauce aisle, comparing sales, $/oz, glass versus plastic jars, sugar content etc, when I could just grab and move on. When with my teen kids, we talk and laugh and negotiate splurges or treats, and probably annoy OP in both scenarios.
I get annoyed at adult couples buying groceries together looking very serious and strategizing how to split the aisles as if this were a timed game show with big stakes or a very serious difficult two-person task. I'm probably just envious, right?
