Publicity stunt. There are better players in northern Virginia, that are her age.

No there aren’t.

Why were 3 NOVA players selected to play in CONCACAF championship with u17 wnt but she wasn’t?

U15 USYNT girls up 10-0 in the first half over jamaica in first concacaf game. Gio Reyna sister has 4 goals already...I wonder who her parents called? Sorry couldn't resist.

More attention to women’s soccer in DC should help both teams.

Yes, I noticed she does not see the field anymore but is rostered and not injured...Spirit has tons of great young players. The 16 year old for KC tore her acl which is really tough.

2 more teenagers signed with Seattle today. One is 16 years old. I guess this is becoming a trend.

Easy win for the Spirit last night...another rookie gets a start and a goal. Great draft for Spirit so far.

Makenna Morris is from Germantown MD. She is a true gem!

Bummed that last weeks home game was so disappointing compared to last night. Wish I had seen the better game in person!

Ricketts doesn't play at all. This can't be healthy. There was obviously no plan for her going pro.

Ricketts still getting zero minutes. Obviously there is concern about this decision to take a 15 year old.

Who? Chloe? If so, she's 16 and turns 17 in May.

I feel bad for her. They put her in to play when another player was injured. Maybe they contractually have to play her a certain amount of time?

She lost the ball. Later, she got the ball and kicked it out of bounds. I imagine playing like this must be really hard on her, and she's so young.

Spirit with another win. The two drafted college player look fabulous. Ricketts zero minutes.

Spirit used max number of subs in the Saturday loss and Ricketts was not one of them.

Ricketts and Fuller head to head this passed weekend....and...neither played 1 minute.

Do we have any idea why?

I think Ricketts at least was brought in prior to a coaching change. Wonder if that has anything to do with it. Even if they simply can't keep up, you have to wonder if the club has plans for developing them into a future role, especially considering the amount of money they have tied up in these players.

Croix Bethune was called in as a training camp player. Very well deserved.

And while I know she's not on the Spirit anymore, Sam Staab got her first invite too.

Hopefully its a good sign going forward. USWNT previously was run like they cared more about names than taking actual talent.

Anyone know when roster for Olympics is finalized?
