45, $120,000 income, $600,000 in TSP and a ROTH combined
45, $100,000 income, $400,000 in TSP
We also will have a dual military pension - when we retire (in the next 5 years or so) it will be about $12,000 a month and go up with cost of living increases. Also don't know what we'll get for disability but will both get at least something for sure. And we have two GI bills to give to our two kids.

Both 40
HHI $240k
Combined retirement accounts about $460k
529 (1 child) $60k
Home equity $600k
We just finished paying off student loans, and have only been able to max out our 401Ks in the last few years. No family help (obviously). DH's family has money and we'll get some inheritance, but that's hopefully 15+ years off and they spend a lot and have a lot of kids to split their money between. No idea if it will be $50k or $500k.
Either way, our goal is to have enough to retire comfortably, not lavishly, and to help DD as much as possible by covering college, starting a Roth, and having good LTC insurance (family history of dementia on both sides, lucky us!) so we're not a burden on her. We're finally at the point where our expenses are low and stable (i.e., needed home updates are done, loans are paid off, medical issues are resolved), so fingers crossed nothing else comes up and we can catch up to where we should be.
