Great Game as a fan of the sport between two of the better teams in Loudoun for many years. Many of these kids have played Dulles South together. It was like a playoff game, very intense and full of energy. Both sidelines were electric. Everytime Freedom built a 2, 3, or 4 goal lead, BW had an answer to tie the game up. Thr 4th quarter had Freedom up by 1 goal, 3X only to have BW tie it up. Both teams had possessions in OT, with Freedom hitting pipe 2X, before winning it in OT. There were shots from both teams that were simply amazing goals. Both goalies played well, but wouldn't say it was stellar. Loved the back-n-forth battle all night long. Too bad these teams won't see each other again this year.
I had quite a different take. Sloppy game! Both teams have individual pieces, but are not whole complete teams. I can say these are not two of the “better” teams in Loudoun, as I can count at least 3 that are playing better at the moment.
Riverside is the top in Loudoun, and the next 4 are a distant ways away.
Indy, Freedom, Broad Run and Briar are the next 4, but they could all beat each other on given nights.
I agree Riverside is the top team buts it’s still High School you never know. Bad games happen and injuries happen. Riverside is not as deep as they have been and could lose to Indy or Briar or both!

Why do refs hate Briar?
Maybe because Briar is the dirtiest team in NOVA.

Maybe? wasn't it 18-6 last year? Indy should be worried about BW and Riverside, and not wasting the talent they have the next 2 years. Too much talent not to make the State Tournament at least 1X.
Riverside will beat Indy by 10+ goals.
We will see. Ask Robinson they know
Robinson beat Battlefield - ROBO all the way!
Boys or Girls?
