Then be prepared to be shocked. It’s a partnership - BRAVE players and families want MV. He will be coaching teams too.
Thank you! Where is all of this anti-MV stuff coming from? He's really good -- clear, honest, straightforward. My daughter appreciated him as a coach.
Because he’s accomplished nothing at this level and he isn’t a strong brand to attract players or college coaches.
MV had a whole age group quit on him and leave the club. That’s a huge red flag.
And they all ended up in much better situations.
This sums up MV in a nutshell. No real coaching or development. If it goes well, it’s because the team has talent and he’ll take credit. If it doesn’t, full spin cycle. He wasn’t the coach or it’s the players fault for sucking. He’ll claim victory for the 08s relative success. He’s not listed as the coach but he’s the coach in this case. 09s crash and burn, he’s not the coach. He’ll demand that he coaches the 08 at Union for a third year because good players overcome mediocre coaching. No real substance. I can confirm that they did not all end up in a much better situation.
By this argument, it means the strongest Union teams exist because of the talented (SYC) players and not due to the McLean coaching or player pool.
Now you are getting it!
That amazing SYC talent pipeline that was so critical to McLean's success has resulted in the following standings:
2011 -7th place
2010- 2nd place
2009- 7th place
2008- 7th place
Perhaps SYC folks believe SYC is better than it really is?

This seems to be true for any coach in this area. CW got a decent team with the 11’s and what has he done with them?
This is not true for any coach and definitely not CW who has a long track record of development and placement. Don’t even try to say that all of the coaches are the same and that Brave coaches are equal to McLean coaches. When was the last time MV coached a competitive u17 girls team?

Those parents must not have a kid that they're trying to retain.
Not true. The full line up hasn't been emailed. That isn't to say there hadn't been communication.
The trolls/pot stirring is just getting annoying here.
Release what you have. It’s 2/27. Losing kids every day.
Everyone will know who saved who based on the coaching allocations. McBrave has arrived!
Good. And those coaching allocations are? You have lost 2 kids in the time it’s taken to read this message.
Lost them to who? Another ECNL team can't pick them up until Friday and if they're going to GA they were probably bench players anyway (not that there is anything wrong with that).
My kid signed up for an Arlington session today so they will definitely go to that practice and may take a spot if they like it. It’s after March 1, but we wouldn’t have even signed up if FVU had shown they were organized and released coaches. Tic tic. Your teams are getting worse every day.
Same here -- can't wait around any longer and have a strong feeling the teams are predetermined anyway.
Be patient, although this all may be true it does not mean these players accept the offers currently on the table. Coaching matters otherwise SYC might be more attractive to some girls they will let us know. Then there would more room at FXU Fairfax Crossing United right?

Wrong. He was not the coach.
