I thought 5+
I think most folks were aware of nationals and ukies. Not as big a hit.

Looks like GA isn’t going down quite yet.

Did the ECNL cult show its hand regarding how nervous about GA they really are?

How about all the ECNL coaches here posting on this forum focus more on their clubs instead of focusing on SYC having GA. Clearly ppl here are afraid or mad SYC now has GA.
Why would anyone be mad that SYC has GA?
If Syc 2012s snag a few more players from ECNL teams, they will be the most dominant team.
Believe it or not, some parents/kids would rather win a national championship in GA than struggle every season on a mid tier ECNL team
This is 100% correct.
When it comes to recruiting Playing in GA finals gets more eyeballs than not going to finals in ECNL.
Ummmm no. ECNL Florida and Arizona have more coaches than GA finals.
If you are in Ecnl winning is not the object. It is getting seen by and committing to college. So no you would rather be in a mid Ecnl team where every kid commits as opposed to an even top ga team.
GA is great. No one is mad that syc got it. They are a good club and will do well with it. It does offer an opportunity for a number of people. Good addition to local soccer. Good option. But let’s don’t go crazy. You might have picked FCV over Ecnl in the past but now if you had the choice and can get to one of the clubs you would be better off on an Ecnl club.
Right, because Brave, Beach, Pipeline, Arlington, NC Fusion, NC Youth among others are absolutely killing it when it comes to getting recruited. :sarcasm:
