Steel wool is very flammable.

A good trick is fluorescent powder and blue light. Put it all around the perimeters. More often than not: dishwasher, fridge, gas line water line sewer line built ins baseboards foundation cracks crawlspace roof

My exterminator placed a large number of snap traps around the perimeter of my home to determine the rough area the mice were entering, and then really sealed in this area. In my case, they were coming in through a crack under my front door, between the wall and steps, that was less then a width of a penny. Exterminator shoved stainless steel wool through every hole that could be found.

Regardless if rental or owned, you have to follow the water and gas lines, walk the perimeter and plug up all the holes. Sometimes they will have eaten the floorboards under the kitchen.

Same here. I was on a tour of the apartment a place on Spring Road was going to rent me and the woman goes “what are you looking for?” In a nasty tone as I looked under the sink and appliances. I let her know that I found it and wanted my deposit and application fee back because I was not moving into an infestation.

Cameras everywhere to ensure we don’t get unwanted visitors. Saw raccoons, changed the city trash can. Now our cans are lined. Gone. It’s always the hygiene in the end of the day
