False. I hate wearing bras in the summer. That small extra layer is just so uncomfortable in the sticky DC heat. I don't bother in the winter went wearing things that aren't formfitting, and don't bother in the summer when it's super hot. I do wear one for work or if I'm going to be in a place with stuffy DC-type moms who are scandalized by the outline of a nipple (the children!).
