I followed Hoarse Whisperer, too. I thought he was sappy and a beggar for posting a Patreon acct frequently, but he also took cool pictures of birds. He portrayed that he was a good single dad who was a victim of narc abuse by his ex. Was he the narc all along? His poor son!
This is probably part of why they connected. Valerie was constantly posting about her ex being a narcissist, so they bonded over that. Maybe as the 10 whole months of their relationship went by, they realized they didn't have much else in common.
