I am asking OP, whom I presume remembers some of his grammar lessons from school, not a useless rapper unconcerned with so-called standard grammar and language. And women have expressed their disgust with said rapper's use of females, as well.

Yet that exact same song is still played all the time on local radio.

The song, Get Low, has also been used by Hollywood in numerous movies, videos, etc.

How is that relevant? The singular form of they is recognized in the dictionary and has been for decades. The singular use of they was seen in texts dating back to the 14th century.

There's a huge difference between people 30 and north (especially 35 and north) and people in their 20s and late teens. And it's due to the failures of education. It makes complete sense when you realize what's being taught now and how it's being taught.
