I remember getting deferred then ultimately rejected at Princeton. It stung, but I think I wound up at a better school for me personally in the end. She will wind up somewhere great!


Thank you for your very kind note. We agree and are trying to move past the disappointment quickly and recognize she will be happy where she ends up.


Another person rejected at my dream school (UNC chapel Hill) and ended up at a school that I LOVED. Met my husband and best friend there, got a great education that got me into the top grad school for my field, still donate and actually visit the campus sometimes (we live relatively close). All is not lost, I promise!
