There will be some changes, not everyone will like them and that's okay, but things will stay the same too. I hope it's the best decision for him and not just VRSC trying to buy everything and everyone.
Depends on where they will practice next year which is a big issue. If their practice fields and home base move to Springfield, then this will be impactful to the current players and families.

Virginia Revolution kicked out Barca Academy Northern Virginia, Shenandoah FC, now they're trying to kick out FC Virginia, then they'll try their hardest to buy their way into ECNL and MLS. When their unethical doings and everything is exposed they'll come crumbling down. A shame good players, good coaches, and even better kids have to be around such things.

Unless StJ gives (sells) their girls academy charter and teams over to Revolution. Then they just keep the teams intact with CC running it. Basically the same thing with new uniforms.

They have strong financial backing, though, so the obvious path forward is to “buy their way” in. Bringing in someone like CC who has been around and understands the youth soccer landscape is no doubt a big win for them. AFAIK, FCV (and thus their GA charter) is still part of STJ so I don’t see this suddenly changing anything for Revolution overnight. If things fall apart at FCV, then of course those players will go somewhere else but it won’t be to play NCSL/EDP at Revolution. Ultimately, it’s a smart business decision for them and I’m sure CC won’t mind getting paid more.

Which is why it could be a good move. To strengthen the girls teams.
