FPYC was a Stars team with a couple of M&D Black added in, not really a rec team.
Vienna was all rec, and was beaten by 5 goals by both GF and FPYC. Great Falls played very well. Mostly Pride Red players who play rec with GF in the NVYLL season.
Not sure how you can say that was the roster of FPYC. there were no club jerseys or rosters posted. I doubt there were Maryland girls.
IYKYK.
Love this guy!

Look, most of the people who post here spend a lot of time on lacrosse sidelines. The top players in the area are known quantities. The girls all know the ne another from clubs, camps, and clinics. No detective work or roster look ups required. St James tent also an indicator…
I am so out of the loop. How do people know who the top players are? I only know the players on DD’s team.
PP said it well. There are some super engaged parents who watch every game and talk to their DDs regularly about lacrosse. They also talk to each other and a general agreement on the top players has emerged. All of the talk on this board about the future Capital Blue team is a summary of this groupthink.

For 28s?
Yes.
The number of teams seemed down this year. Based on Tourney machine it looks like only 2 good teams in the 7/8 division. Were other girls playing up with the HS teams?
How did you discern there were only 2 good teams in the 7/8 division from looking at Tourney Machine? There were two divisions by the way.
Not hard to figure out, 1 team went 5-0 and another 4-1 and then played for the championship. The lower division bracket didn't have any good teams.
Deep analysis.
to take the analysis one step deeper, what was the total goal differential for the top two teams? If the two teams in the finals won all their games by big margins, and their only close game was against each other, then the PP who said there were only two good teams in the 7/8 age bracket would be correct. but if most of the games were by close scores, then the PP would be incorrect.
Here’s a hint. Tourney machine.
According to Tourney Machine, the Great Falls and FPYC girls handed out some beat downs on everyone else. I'd say that the PP got it right there were basically two good teams!

Vienna was "all rec"? I swear I saw some travel players on that team.
