Former President Trump at a Friday event hosted by the conservative Christian organization Turning Point Action urged Christians to vote, saying they wouldn’t have to do it again if they got out there in November and elected him because “everything” would be “fixed.”
“Christians, get out and vote, just this time,” Trump exclaimed to a cheering crowd in West Palm Beach, Fla.
“You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians” he added.
“I love you Christians. I’m a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good you’re not going to have to vote,” Trump said.

Wouldn’t have run this time if it wasn’t for the “trumped up” charges they brought against him. Would have preferred to have played the role of kingmaker. But no, had to go and poke the honey badger. Bad move.
Oh please he was always going to run again.

I posted the video of these remarks in another thread. Crickets from MAGA posters. The MAGA posters on this site seem fairly educated. How is this kind of rhetoric acceptable to them? Do they think he’s joking?

As the rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump draws nearer, political professionals are detecting an unusual concern among some undecided voters: that if Trump returns to the White House, he’ll refuse to step down when his term is up.
…
Longwell shared a video of a group of undecided swing-state voters who had been asked if they were worried that Trump might violate the constitutional amendment limiting him to one more term if he wins in November.
“Does anybody think he may not abide by the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution and leave office after the 2028 election? Anyone worried about that?” the moderator asked.
In response, seven of the eight participants raised a hand. A Pennsylvania man worried that Trump might go further and try to institute a dynasty. “I wouldn’t put it past him, now that he owns the RNC,” the man said, “to say, ‘Don Jr. is going to do the next term, and he’ll get two. And then Barron will get two.’ And we’ll just have some fake monarchy.”

Unfortunately that time has not come yet - currently the only two possibilities are the White House or prison and there is no golf in prison.
There is a permanent third possibility and considering the stress he has in his life, as well as his obesity, it's a medical miracle it hasn't already happened.
Trump is the weird zit, the GOP is the sepsis. Do not rely on Trump’s (inevitable, but unpredictable) death to fix the problems inherent to the GOP. Project 2025 is the whole GOP. The fascism is the whole GOP.
