it sure looks like ECP DC folded bc no coaches were left
Almost all of the ECP DC head coaches (U13, U14, U16 and many assistants) went back to Mojo. U18 retired mid season last year.
So the big question is why —-
Why did all the former ECP DC coaches choose Mojo?
Here's my question: How many of the former ECP coaches and club staff reached out to specific players BEFORE the announcement, with the intent of convincing the best players to leave and come with them? And how many players did they not talk to -- leaving them to scramble at the last minute to search for other places to play?
We know this happened, because a PP talks about how the ECP invite only clinic numbers declined drastically. Thats not a random thing. There's also a new club (headed by the former ECP club director) posting in this thread about how they will have teams, have already registered for tournaments, etc. There's no way they didn't talk to their "chosen" players ahead of the announcement today and tell them they had a place to play with them at the new club.
As a coach, how in the world do you justify that behavior? If you just coached a club team for more than 6 months, how can you be so callous as to tell some players and not tell the others? How does a club director let that happen? We could never trust that director or coach again, no matter how good a coach they were, how good a director they are or how much my DD loved playing for them.

It will be DC and Delaware branches of a club based out of Pittsburgh. The information for the DC clinics should be up and ready for registration Monday, 10/16. The tryouts will be at Georgetown Day School all day Saturday 11/4. The age specific times and registration links will be on the website by next Wednesday 10/18.
The website has the clubs that he will field but without the detailed info as of yet (coaches, tournament and practice schedules are not up). There will be 11U to 18U . Two teams for the 14-17U ages. He has his coaches and has already registered for all the tournaments. Practice facilities will be at GDS and Spring Hill rec center (I am unsure if there will be one more). The website:

Why would anyone sign up to play with known fraudsters?
