I’d donate to a GoFundMe.

Me too, and would defend Corndog from here on in threads that hate on GFM.

+1. I will also contribute to Corndog. You're a good owner OP!

So, how can we make this happen? OP…some of us would help if there’s a quiet way to set this up.

NP, so I hadn’t been following along. I just wanted to say that this thread gives me hope for humanity.

Hugs to Corndog. Hope he recovers quickly.

Yes... I've been feeling really anxious imagining myself in the situation. I got so lucky with my 20 pounder who ate a large cob, and I was too ignorant to realize it could be really bad. I got lucky.

He is doing well, thanks! He gobbled up his breakfast and has eaten several treats throughout the day. He has not pooped yet, but hopefully soon. If nothing by tomorrow’s afternoon I’ll give the vet a call.

I forgot to block off the stairs and he went upstairs last night. 👹 I’ve got chairs blocking them now.

His pain med contains a mild sedative, so he’s mostly sleeping. They also gave me a separate sedative which I haven’t used yet. But they warned me by day 3 or 4 I’ll probably need it, once he starts feeling better and wanting to be more active. Plus he may be able to space out the pain med longer as the days go on. He’s doing a lot of pacing back and forth, I wonder if that’s just being uncomfortable and feeling out of sorts.
