Good luck. Sportsbooks and online casinos have, for many years, been relying on presumably similar methods for correctly identifying the state where someone is located (and preventing the use of VPNs to disguise that), and I haven't heard of any lawsuits successfully challenging them on this.

Alternative idea: Porn websites have kiosks where one goes and shows ID similar to a porn store or liquor store purchase. ID is not stored anywhere, but in exchange, one gets a code they can use to access the website which stays active for like 5-10 years.

I'd be more comfortable with this than having my face scanned or uploading a government ID where there's probably a 100% chance of a data breach.

How long before job "background checks" include mining for whether someone accessed a porn website?

Genuinely curious, how do we know teen p*rn usage is way up vs just that they are using a different medium than previously for p*rn? Now it's on the internet but growing up you could find magazines or women's erotica either in your older sibling's or parent's stash or at the bookstore. It wasn't difficult for me, a girl growing up in the 80s/90s, to snoop and find it.
