VPN doesn’t work. Just tried it
I read a reddit post from a guy in NYC who got blocked because somehow his internet goes through Virginia... Perhaps the same happened to you?
Also noting that there are a few other southern states with this law so you may have to be careful about where your VPN is router.
Actually seems that without using a VPN his geolocation is sometimes identified as Ashburn and my rudimentary understanding is that there's a lot of internet data that goes through storage facilities in Ashburn. At any rate, seems the impact is potentially more widespread than state residents depending on wifi.
Presumably this makes it ripe for a lawsuit. Interstate commerce and all that.

It's interesting how you incorrectly think anyone who doesn't like porn or doesn't support the porn industry in some way is automatically an "anti-sex religious fundamentalist."
Puritan biddie would be more accurate.

It is so accessible online. Teen p**n usage is way up over when we were kids. Please educate yourself. This law is a good thing for kids.
A group of 8 boys were busted using their Chromebooks & document share for porn. They put the photos and vids in a shared doc for months. No parent or school admin would have been any wiser if one boys brother hadn’t ratted him out when he got upset with him.
This was on school issued machines. If kids want to see porn they will find a way.
