Remember surrogates are people too, with their own timeframe and personal/professional commitments to attend to. It's not like doordash for babies.

With my wife and I, I birth baby #1 and baby #2 and she birthed babies #3 & #4. We thought about doing #2 and #3 at the same time, but she was afraid it would be too much work and decided she'd be more comfortable waiting, so we did.
