Both my spouse and I do that. We bother travel some for work and both have work friends. It'd be very weird to refuse to get dinner or drinks with a colleague you're friends with on the road together. Either you're going to cheat or not. I don't think banning my husband from getting drinks with a female colleague would change any outcome.

Yeah people in my office tend to do things in groups/packs. Same with my team. I feel included and social but I don’t think there’s many people that hang out in pairs versus a pack

I think I'm in a similar boat. I work remotely and so the only times I see colleagues are in group settings like the holiday party or in settings where there's also clients in the room. My client base is in DC so no overnights.

I don't spend one on one time with anyone who I suspect could make an allegation against me. Put differently, if I don't trust you, non one on one time.

Also, I can’t think of it being an issue going to drinks with any of my coworkers and I work with a lot of young, attractive people. I just don’t see myself having an interest in doing anything like that.
