My personal favorite (or not, because it was gut-wrenching) is the season 4 finale of Dexter. I literally cried out in shock.
Another one that caught me by surprise was The Visit.
The end of Sixth Sense was great but The Prestige was shocking. I'm still pretty horrified by that one. Whoa, man, no! Don't do that!
