People forget that Timothee Chalamet is a nepo baby. His mom is Braodway actress Nicole Flender, his uncle is a TV director, and his aunt is a writer/producer for TV.
Sailor Cook (model) is Christie Brinkley's daughter.
Brandon Thomas Lee from The Hills New Beginnings is Pamela Anderson's and Tommy Lee's son.
I'm saying that's not nepo baby. That's having family in the industry.
I think that's kinda the same thing...
No it's not. Nepo babies have star-level parents. Not obscure ones. A father who is a movie star can make things happen for you. A father who is, like, a lighting assistant on the set, can finagle an invitation for you but you'd have to do the rest.
You don't think Directors/Producers don't have any sway? They likely have more than a random actor.
Star level directors and producers, yes. Otherwise no.
You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Just because you haven't heard someone's name before doesn't mean they're not incredibly influential.
Er? Thanks for making my point? Incredibly influential=star quality. I don't need to know about them for them to be influential in their field. I mean I'm sure there's a king of camera work or lighting somewhere that everyone strives to work with. I don't know that person's name. Doesn't make them NOT influential. Some star level people are household names and some aren't.
