No, it’s protecting my identity. What I said was NOT wrong.
Of course it was. Thank you for being the poster child for racists that never believe they are racist. It’s too bad you haven’t taken the time to reflect on your bigotry.
Jesus, are you a right-wing troll trying to make the left look foolish? Because you are succeeding. You sound like an idiot, PP. Stop your knees from jerking uncontrollably before you post again.
+1. Ironically, these posters are proving OP’s point.
I’m sorry that happened to you, OP, and I 100% believe it could.
These posters jumping on the cancellation bandwagon without even knowing what was said are what’s wrong with this country.
There’s a big change coming, and I honestly can’t wait. This ridiculousness can’t last much longer.
I repeat: I am under no obligation to like you.
But you are under an obligation not to harass people at work.
That is what OP posted about. She was harassed.
“once people had heard the rumor that I was a bigot, they would not listen to anything I said.”
Not harassment
Harassment is the dog whistle for racists. Without a doubt, for people to believe that OP said something racist she probably says some pretty bad stuff at work. So even if it was taken out of context, everyone knew she was a racist and it was the last straw.

You can believe me or not. It happened. People will use sensitivity on these issues to make something sound racist that isn’t. They know lots of people are eager to pick up torches.
For what it’s worth, my therapist, who knows everything and has even seen all the emails and texts about this event, is a member of the group I supposedly spoke against and she is fairly horrified that a bunch of white people used what I said in the way they did. No oppressed minority group was aided by my cancellation, it didn’t make anything safer, more equal, or more tolerant. The opposite, the handful of people who know the truth now know they must be extra careful about what they say and do because even benign comments can be twisted against you if you get on the bad side of the wrong people.
Anonymous wrote:OP, you have unfortunately learned the hard way that the mob eventually eats its own.
That is just the way it is.
Sorry you have gone through this.

Anonymous wrote:Truth be told everyone is at least a little bit racist. It is simply a byproduct of our culture and the basic human need to discriminate (differentiate) between the myriad people and inputs we receive. Differentiation if how we make sense of the world. The real crime is the failure to just admit that and then failing to work on it. It is much easier and safer to point out the racist than address one’s own need for reflection and growth.
Anonymous wrote:I know someone who could have written this post. It’s true that the comment was not intentionally racist but it was definitely offensive. But the real reason this person got cancelled was because they had made a LOT of enemies with their underhanded ways, and so nobody intervened.
