SAME. Perhaps the most poignant depiction of Korean American culture, ever.

The casting of David Choe is problematic.

This. I have been a ball of anxiety and stress lately due to work, kids, etc. I have read nothing but positive reviews and wanted to watch it, but I need something light and funny right now.
Definitely keeping on the watch list, though

I found it rich and intense and had to take a break and watch something lighter and then resume.

There was a sweetness to it, two miserable broken people truly connecting with each other under really bizarre circumstances.

I finally watched it - after really not wanting to go down a dark TV road - and loved it. Great writing, stellar cast, and completely surprised by how good it was. I'm no fan of Ali Wong in general but she was fantastic, as was Yeun

Dark humors. Either you get it or you won’t. If you are an accountant you def won’t get it.

I'm conflicted about the ending.

Without spoilers, near the end the main characters were in a tunnel with bright light at the end interrupted by a Deus Ex Machina. My interpretation of that is that the ending is a sort of afterlife or purgatory.
