I agree that the founding was not particularly religious. But over the last 150 years the US has become far more religious than Europe and it has become a defining value of our country.

No, it has become less religious, at a slower rate than Europe.

I have lost track of the goal posts. Is the standard that I prove we are a Christian nation or a nation with strong religious beliefs? The article said religion not Christianity. People came and still come to America to practice their religion. America has religious freedom not freedom from religion.

Freedom from religion IS religious freedom. I am free to be non-religious.

It is not. All A are B does not mean all B are A.

The Constitution guarantees freedom of worship, which means it is right up there with freedom of press and assembly and speech as American values.

You may not care for worship but pretending it isn't an American value when it is specifically protected by the Constitution as a core value is bizarre.

But there are many people in the US that value religion. And guess what, it’s ok. We have a great church that promotes love and tolerance for all. Our congregation is diverse and happy.

The harm he perpetuated to this very day is unconscionable— two 9 year old girls, one 9 year old boy, three adults 60-61 years old died by assault weapons.

First, you're going to have to clarify exactly "the same people that opposed the Iraq War now pushing for US involvement in Ukraine" are. Because my recollection is that there wasn't a very vocal or organized opposition - at least not among elected officials.

Second, there's a world of difference between sending weapons and equipment and deploying American troops to fight.
