I'm 5'8 and interestingly, I prefer men taller than myself but still close enough to my own height. I only dated couple 6'2-6'4 men and was not sexually compatible with either. They were too big for me, if they tried to go all the way, felt painful.
I find medium height men more compatible sexually and it gives my body more freedom in bed, e.g. not feeling too pressed, him too heavy or mounting over me or dominant

my attraction for taller women either biologically or their shoe choice. I found the
height of women between 6’1” and 6’5” seems to work best for me, in all honesty I dated a very attractive woman who was 6’7” and wore hi heels and relished in subtle humiliation of me by her ridiculous height advantage and to this day doesn’t understand why I broke up with her, yes I was and still am turned on by her beauty and physical appearance only her humiliation i couldn’t overcome.

The problem is that tall women won't date men shorter than them. Almost any man would love dating a taller woman who is beautiful, smart, etc. Height is not a gating factor for most men like it is for women.
Disagree! A lot of men feel emasculated or insecure dating a taller woman because it makes them feel smaller. It’s dumb but it’s definitely a thing

Tall genes have a lot of risk to them though- tall people suffer from way more health issues. Women like tall men because they look like they can fight/protect better, a masculine quality, but without that factor I think the health issues associated with tallness would probably outweigh any benefits, strictly genetically speaking. Your best bet is probably average height, so around 5'4 for women and 5'10 for men, for the ideal genetic fitness scenario
Generally, short + tall = average height kids.
Nope, usually they inherit the height from one side or another (usually tallness is more dominant)
I hope that’s true, but it does not seem to be in my case: mom 5’3”, dad 6’2”, DD9 55% (was tall until 6 and has been losing since), DD7 45% (was also taller and has been losing %), DS4 85% but might follow his sisters and lose % after 5 or so….
I wonder if perhaps they will just grow later as both DH and I developed on the later side of normal (13 for me) (16-18 DH)

Both of them are with quite short women. And they were right- she did have trouble dating.
You didn’t say how tall she was. And to me 6’4-6’9 men are not attractive either. Maybe that’s why they had to marry short women: medium height women were not attracted to them
Well you're not the average woman- the vast majority of women would be attracted to a 6'4 man.
She's not that tall- 5'8
That's not tall at all. Was she also ugly?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It is not just height. If a woman has an ugly face and just tall, doubtful she will be very popular. Tall, beautiful, smart, kind and fun ? Of course she will be wanted and Desired.
Just my opinion but I feel like people put too much emphasis on faces. Its like looking at one small corner of a Monet and deciding you don’t like the painting. I look at the whole picture.
