I suspect the confusion is that someone in the school goes on a field trip every day, but each student only goes about once a week or so; PP, I can see how a child would find every day overwhelming! Our DC went there for middle school and loved it (in middle school!) and was very prepared for HS. Can't say enough good things about it.

The students don't go on field trips every day. It's more like once a week, and in upper elementary it's a bit less than that. Also, the small playground on the school grounds is for early childhood students. The elementary and upper grade kids play at Garfield Park.

When I looked at it last year, they did tell me it was every day for field trips. i thought it sounded great but my child didn't.

We have been at the school for several years love it. Very supportive community and progressive mindset. Well run. Our child is thriving!

I thought they did well. Some of those students were admitted to multiple places and had choices of where to go.
It's a great school for a million reasons. Totally impressed.

This is our first year there, and so far we really like it (as does our kid). Warm community, engaged teachers, and the field education program seems to be everything it's cracked up to be. We have no regrets at all at this point.

Do you think it's too late to submit a first choice letter to the school?
