Put a Harvard sticker next to the Sidwell sticker. You can drive on the sidewalk.

It really is all about the sticker (or magnet) at the end of the day.

My kid begged me to put one on, so I did. My DH is a terrible driver, though, so I took it off.

Nope, DH would like to. I'd prefer not to advertise the amount I'm spending on tuition in the event of an accident. FWIW, I do not drive a fancy car.

I think it's a little tacky and a security issue and don't. That said, I had one for my college (while I was in college, on my own car) because I was so proud to have gotten in and so excited to be going there - I knew it was my ticket out of my small town, and I loved being there. I think that's different from when it's your kids and not you though - just doesn't sit right with me. I think everyone can do what they want, though, and don't judge others for it.

Driving cross country or up to NH we often will see the magnet and always look to see if we know them.

I would never drive cross country but yes, I look for the magnets when we are at our second home on the Vineyard

We have second home on MV. I have never noticed DC private school stickers on cars. I saw a ton on spring break to Kiawah, though.

We go to Maine in the summer and I see a TON on cars in New England in the summer.

In fact, the homes next to ours are a family from Bethesda and one from Alexandria. It literally is a NW/Bethesda/Arlington/Alexandria summer destination.
