I am pretty sure I am not alone in this. OP, DCUM has a strong dislike for Tulane. In the rest of the country, it is absolutely considered prestigious.
In what way? What is Tulane better than Emory at doing?
Tulane is better at enrolling students of the Jewish faith (41%) compared to WUSTL (26%) and Emory (17%)--although the Emory percentage seems low--especially at the law school.
What do the Jews have to do with prestige. Emorys white population is relatively low overall 33% give or take so the Jewish population would also be low.
Jewish posters may consider that among factors that make a school prestigious. I have read that Jewish people are the most intelligent culture/religion/heritage so a high percentage of Jewish students suggest that the academic standards are high.
I just googled this and there are many sources. (I love diversity of all types. I am not Jewish, but I want my children in school with lots of Asian & Jewish students as I feel comfortable that the academics expectations & standards will be very high.)
Well, this is refreshing.![]()

People on DCUM are anti-Tulane. Tulane is ranked #44. SMU and GW are in the 60s and 70s. They are not equal in academics and prestige.

This discussion has taken a crazy turn, but, because the assertion seemed implausibly low, it caused me to turn to Google and Emory is 53% white. Pretty diverse other than that.
Emory is 38 percent white now. Making sure that number stays nice and low.
Maybe the white students weren't good enough to get in?

And they are now debating on the ankle monitoring and bounty hunting of women. It will pass.
There is no way anyone should be sending a kid to Wash U right now.
Poo poo this all you want think I am crazy sure go ahead. I am not wrong.
MO just passed clothing requirements for it's house of reps if you think they are stopping there you are not paying attention.
Josh Hawley wants women in his state to stay home be barefoot and pregnant. If they vote him in again yeah MO is screwed.
You are smearing poo poo all over your own walls with this nonsense. Please seek help.
