Flying somewhere just to sit by the pool.

Long distance flights
Stadium concerts
Cars that cost more than houses
Not sure anyone LIKES long distance flights…
Love them. We're allowed business class, I usually upgrade to first, and then I have 12+ hours to read my book, have someone call me by my name instead of Mommy, eat good food, and not be bothered by work.

I love them too, even in coach. I can watch movies while people bring me food and drinks….love it.
Exactly!
I am not a fan of long distance flights, but just wanted to comment I think this is the sad state of motherhood when being in a flying box in the sky for hours on end feels like a luxury because you don’t have to caregive and can have some time to yourself.![]()
And I will say that the recovery in the hospital after baby #3 felt similarly rejuvenating because it was a break from taking care of 2 mobile kids lol, and I could even order a custom omelette brought right to my room with coffee in the morning! It was the closest I’ve had to vacation in years.
