Did you really spend time to go through the list and figure all of this out?

Does WIS have the most in the DC/VA/MD area?
Looking at 2022, proportionally, Sidwell beats pretty much all high schools, public or private.
Sidwell 19
GDS 8
Wilson 7
STA 11
WIS 4
NCS 4
TJ 30
SWW 6
So in 2023 WIS is the new Sidwell?

They competed. They just were just far behind local public schools and privates such as WIS.
Sidwell: 6
GDS: 4
NCS: 2
STA: 4
Maret: 5
It’s important to note, most of these schools are like 90-100 per grade.
Thanks for Mart info. What about SAES in Potomac, Whitman in Bethesda, and Potomac School in VA?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It’s Washington International School. Unique since they do the International Baccalaureate diploma which is super challenging. And they do this IB very well. And all of the kids speak a second language. There isn’t any other school in the area like it to really compare it to in terms of its success and what it offers. People always talk about the big three. But this is a school that remains under the radar, but seems to produce excellent results.
Perhaps not a school that you have to pay $50k a year for, but the IB program at Richard Montgomery in MCPS runs laps around WIS and is free.
12 RM kids are PSP candidates on the 2023 list, 14 in 2022, 15 in 2021, 15 in 2020… pretty consistent.
