Yes. I referred to it as waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was anticipating a twist somewhere so I really wasn't able to absorb the impact of the episode at the time. I watched it again just to focus on it stand alone.

Agreed, need to watch it again more calmly and fully enjoy it!

Don’t read the thread before you watch.

It was all over social media—best tv episode EVER!!!!

Weird. I only saw that here.

Np. I saw several articles to that effect on Facebook and Insta.

I saw lots of people raving about it but not “best tv episode ever”.

Some examples:

Not everyone reads Daily Mail.

Is that your first “news” source in the morning?

DP. Could you possibly be more annoying?

Let me see what the daily mail says.

I don’t know what I can say about the last episode. There was for me a truly unusual chemistry between Bill and Frank and the plotting. I wept, and I don’t tend to. I loved in a way the boldness of the tear jerking- I have never been able to listen to Long, Long Time without feeling really moved, really like I’m living the song through different relationships.

Craig Mazin said his goal was to write about long-term love in middle age. It worked, completely, for me.

I really don't understand how game spoilers is different than Game of Thrones, HOTD, Fleishman series, or any other movie/show based on a book. Plus I think I am the only one who thinks Bill is alive based on the game so it's not even a spoiler, it's just a theory. I asked Jeff to add in WITH game spoilers, so if you all want to start a thread with no game info in it, you may. - OP.

I agree with you, OP. The theory about Bill being alive wasn't a spoiler, it was just a theory based off the episode. It was particularly NOT a spoiler because (to everyone except you apparently ) it was clear that the show deviated from the game in that episode, so any inside info based on game knowledge would have been inaccurate for that particular plot point. I think discussion about how the show paralleled or deviated from the game UP TO THE POINT PORTRAYED IN THE CURRENT EPISODE is fair game episode discussion. Difference between saying "that scene in this week's episode is similar/different from the scene in the game because..." and theories from there, versus saying "when the characters do this thing in a future episode that I'll know they did because it happened in the game..."

haha thanks, and I'm probably wrong so it wasn't a spoiler. I don't remember the game, husband played it a while ago, and I had my eyes closed for most of it. Anyways, I asked Jeff to change the title so PPs can stop complaining. - OP

Exactly. That was the issue with spoilers from the GOT threads. People would throw out future spoilers.

Way better! I think TWD started off really well but then got too intricate and annoying.
