The coaches are terrific, the workouts are solid, and the atmosphere is healthy for the kids with just the right amount of challenge to not over or underwhelm them. My kids are thriving and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
It depends on the facility. We left NCAP because it was just going through the motions. Promotions seemed to be based only on age and most of the kids were barely improving. The program at the pool our kid went to was smaller, so maybe the larger ones are better.
Agreed- so disappointed with our current location! Yes, we will switch!!! Prospective families, do your homework! Quality varies wildly by site and group!
It's not that easy to switch sites within NCAP.

We are now Machine swimmers and beyond thrilled with them. What a warm, supportive, kind team. My kid is thriving and happy. The Laurel location is actually very easy for us (we're in Silver Spring) and U of MD on the weekends is such a fabulous facility. If you can at all swing it, take another look at Machine.
Interesting. We have several swimmers on our team who left Machine after having bad experiences.
