I get it she’s now old in Hollywood terms, but I think the point is the high school photo proves she was NATURALLY extremely cute. In contrast to most celebs we’re force fed who had all sorts of plastic surgery to appear attractive - Scarlett Johansson, Zendaya, Kardashians, Hadids, on and on.
Disagree, she was average but pleasant looking in high school but she’s a good actress and has charisma. I don’t see how Scarlett Johansson and Zendaya had “all sorts of plastic surgery.” They look like older versions of themselves from high school, just like Amy Adams does.

It is attractive. And it’s increasingly rare in the obese US, hence a mere “cute” woman like Amy can pop on screen.
