It’s a good take tho. The GOP is underperforming history right now.

My prediction: Dems hold Senate, GOP take the House. Both chambers have slim majorities.

The problem is that this current crop of Republicans in the House will refuse to work with Senate Dems. They are the equivalent of kamikaze pilots. I think there’s a real risk of sovereign default.

Yeah I don’t think you can use FL to predict what will happen elsewhere. Lots of people from blue or purple states moved to FL in the past couple of years for “freedom” and be part of what they see as a MAGA utopia. I can bake several families off the top of my head who moved for this reason, and I’m sure many others here can too.
