I feel like there are certain posters who actually believe that if you don’t attend a “name brand” school, you won’t get hired at these companies. That’s just not true. GMU is *highly* respected for CS - as well as other majors. You don’t have to throw away a fortune at a cash cow like, say, Northeastern, to be hired at these places.


I work in Apple HR and I looked at the salary that Apple offers to recent grads, BS in CS, is pretty much the same, regardless of the University they attended, within 5K difference. YMMV.
