I know some critics here will call them sheep, but those are your neighbors/pickleball league/PTA cohorts, etc. it's also clear by some comments that the critics made up their minds a few years ago, and not based on latest yes-it's-an-actual plan. Anyone reading this in future: just know that Arlington now has a genuine curmudgeon vote. Their loud, out of touch, and don't want to support the future like what was done for them. Fortunately they're also a fractional minority, so keep them in context.

You are unhinged. APS needs to address real need and stop kicking the hoping it will get sucky enough for those with means to move or go private.

I’ve been opposing career center expansion for a decade because it cannibalizes money from 4th high school. This is just a continuation of that effort not some protest vote because I’m bored.

Nice, way to prove previous poster's point! #Curmudgeon #LoudandOutofTouch

Out of touch because I’ve been involved in this issue for longer than you have had kids?

A decade? That would mean you've been opposing the CC expansion for longer than anyone was even discussing expanding the CC.

The “issue” is the need for a 4th high school. Are you willfully ignorant?

I think willful ignorance is someone who thinks APS is going to build a 4th high school at this point. When? Where?

So Aps is committed to becoming ACPS.
