Seriously. It’s really unprofessional. I’m listening to it now, and it’s really upsetting listening to Natasha say that she regrets not coming to him and talking to him about his addiction and then Sarah interprets saying well he was really to love. Natasha was having a really really hard and sad moment and Sarah needed to demonize him almost. I feel badly for Natasha for this interview. Sarah isn’t a great interviewer and her mood and voice don’t match the conversations.

Thank you for summing it up. Man, telling you, meds and alcohol will take control of your life. Not to mention, he never really looked healthy or fit to counteract any of what he was doing. Seems like a recipe for failure. I feel for his daughters and being so young having to go through that. I can’t imagine.
I’ll never forget driving into work one morning and Kane going off on Natasha publicly. The entire fanbase was shocked.

Literally no one would know or care anymore if she just lived a private life and moved on. We have a short attention span and stop caring about someone’s scandal as soon as it’s quiet for awhile. Instead she’s rehashing the drama keeping it in the public mind and adding details to keep resell relevant.
I’m curious what the end game is. It kind of seems like she is angling for a career as a podcaster/advice coach on these issues.
I think just general “influencer” - put out very general women empowerment type statements, talk about her “mama bear tribe” or whatever she’s going to call her following etc. No real POV, just an angle to be someone and feel important and loved

Anonymous wrote:The Kane Show was the bomb back in the day. I listed to it from when I was in middle school to when it went off the air (I'm almost 30 now).
The replacement show is boring and the people aren't that likeable.
Side note, remember when we had 100+ page threads about all the Kane Show drama? Those were the days.
And what happened to Danni Starr?

Honestly, she didn’t need to share the gritty details about searching his house and the prescriptions to be broadcast to tens of thousands of people. Those poor kids constantly having to relive things and suffering because neither of their parents can/could keep their mouths shut on public mediums. It didn’t even seem pertinent in relation to “survival”. What did she survive? The only reason she’s where she’s at now is because he died. Where’s the lesson in that? And she completely glossed over her addiction and the cause of her second divorce in favor of trashing her kids’ father under the guise of divorce/relationship advice. So unnecessary and disappointing. And Sarah really sucks as an interviewer.
I see your point, but I can't fault her for this after his public takedown of her on-air and lies about their custody agreement. I was never a 'fan' of either one of these people, but it seems unfair to expect her to take the high road while her late husband disparaged her to thousands of listeners.

That is 100% false. She went to rehab. She got clean. She's stayed clean. All of that takes personal strength. She got to this point in her life by working a program and staying clean.
Thank god she did so those girls still have one parent. Rehab also gave her the second husband and son. It was a strange blessing to her.

If people don’t hear details directly from the source, they speculate. I enjoyed listening to the podcast. I think the girls will be okay with lots of therapy and surrounded by consistent, warm, loving people (Natasha, grandparents? Nanny? Private school communities?)
She didn’t share “her story”. In addition to talking about Kane, her story would have involved also sharing the laundry list of pills that could have been found in her house, the dangerous or erratic behavior she exposed her kids to, the underhanded things she did in the custody fight. All she shared was her version of kanes story. Which cool cash in on that if that’s worth the trauma to your daughters to you, but this in one way Natasha’s life story or the details of her struggles and overcoming things
She told her side of the story, just like Kane did to thousands of his listeners. Her story of addiction resulted in her having to work to get clean, while Kane had his own addiction issues. She also discussed how her faith was important to her recovery. I think this is a heartbreaking story of two parents that struggled with addictions. She obviously loved Kane when all is said and done, so not sure why people are assuming the worst intentions.
