Asking this very seriously. Why does that bother you? It is okay to care about the safety of all of our teachers and students, and it is okay to get emotional when someone you love may be at risk. I was emotional many times during the first year of COVID, worried for myself and others. So an elected official is not allowed to have feelings?

I live in the 35th district.
(Not that it matters, but I'm a Republican parent who would vote for any Democrat as long as Karl Frisch is defeated)
They haven’t set the date yet for the special election, but it will be soon. Keep checking here for updates. It’s an open primary so Republicans can vote in it too — show up and bring all your neighbors. Voting out a horrible candidate is something both sides of the aisle should agree on here

Much better than Frisch.
She needs to fix her website though, its broken and looks unprofessional.

From what I understand, Karl lied to them to get their endorsements. He told people "no one else is running, anyone who was thinking about it isn't going to anymore, I spoke with them, its all good, just endorse me".
Also, look at his list of endorsers and compare that to those he has donated $$ to in the past. LJC is one name that comes to mind as someone who fits this bill. VPAP.org.
I was wondering about this... because a few local politicians I respect endorsed him, and it really surprised me. Given the grassroots support Holly Seibold has, especially among local women, it seemed like it was poor form to announce endorsing him so soon, and that it could potentially alienate some voters.
