MCEA or the 4 other companies that were just cut out of bidding on this multi million dollar deal?
Name the companies.
Why? No one cares. Joftus' wife gets the $2.37M today at noon.
You know it could be more than 4 companies. No one will ever know because no bids were allowed. What if it's 12 companies? The Board of Education doesn't care. They want Joftus' wife to get the cash.
I’m sure there’s a way to file a protest if one of the “4 other companies” truly believes there is a procurement irregularity.

The $2MM grant is about $12.50 per student across MCPS.
And? So what. All MCPS students don't go to this place. Only a few go. Your point is meaningless.

Doing what? What are they doing and why do you prefer to take your child to Bethesda instead of having a science teacher in your school?
Because MCPS can't afford to outfit every teacher - or even each school - with all the cool stuff the kid museum has.
And they only send very few students, so it's a win for the Bethesda kids that desperately need this type of facility in their back yard.

Still doesn't make it a remotely good use of Covid $$.
Was it Covid money? MCPS has been supporting them since pre-covid.
