Someone who is a wally is a bit of an idiot in the UK. I wouldn't use the name Wally just as I'd avoid Randy.

You’re right, I’m not.

I often say no to names that are “taken”, but IMO, this is just a random character. I would say “please, don’t” if we were talking about Chandler or Barney.


I guess I’m just a really big fan. I can’t think of anything else when I hear that name.

We have a Henry and yes it’s very popular but go w what you love. It’s never bothered our Henry that he has a popular name.


But the OP asked for names that aren’t common. People are recommending Alexander, Owen, John. Those names are all fairly common.
