OP if you are still on this thread, I do sympathize with you. It is a super weird dynamic to have a fully capable second adult in the home, presumably fully capable of pitching in, who instead chooses to priori each herself. If you think of it in those terms, you will hate having an AP.
You need to reframe your mindset to realize that when she’s off, she’s off. She has every right to prioritize herself in her off time. Accept it. If she’s not on the clock, don’t expect her to come to your aid - ever. Once you accept that, you’ll have a better and more realistic expectation of the Au pair experience.
