I am the same age as you, OP. Keep us posted, I have debated this in my head for years and cannot come up with an answer for myself. Everytime I think about calling for a consult, I freak out because I can't visualize having a conversation about this with my 9-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter. I also freak out and start loathing my barely A cup every time I hear of trans men getting top surgery or wearing a binder. I also keep thinking about what I'd do if I see 90/100---I mean, at that point, are my kids going to advocate for me to see a surgeon to have implants removed/replaced?

If I could go back in time, I would have saved up my money my senior year of high school and gotten the surgery the summer before I started college.

I notice the sag affects my posture and back pain, but I would pursue PT to improve my strength as a first option. Not saying others should do that--I am just wary of anesthesia.

Pre kids I was a very perky full C and now in my mid 40s at the same weight I was pre-pregnancy, I'm a saggy D/DD on a petite frame. I am also curious about "just" a lift, even now in my 40s, and would gladly take the loss in cup size. I hate how I look in a bathing suit, hate that I can't wear certain types of shirts or lounge braless without feeling like my nipples are at the bottom of my ribcage. I've noticed my posture has suffered and I have a lot of neck and back pain. Why live like that for the what might be the last half of my life?

I think you can go either way depending on your hormonal response.

My breasts seem to keep getting larger.
I breastfed twins and when they were 12 months of age I was the skinniest I've been in my life but my breasts were larger than pre-pregnancy. I never lost ANY volume.
Great at the time but now they slowly grown from that point to another cup in peri menopause.
i would give a lot for a reduction.

I recently considered a lumpectomy versus a mastectomy. On a breast cancer forum, my age (47) seemed very relevant to peoples’s suggestions. 50 plus? Just remove them. Under 35, removal and reconstruction. In between, it came down to your relationship status. Married? Lumpectomy. Divorced over 45? Go flat. Never married? Get new tits, maybe you can still land a man.

I haven’t read those forums. Everyone I know my age who got a mastectomy (50+) had reconstruction. I think the fact that insurance pays for it makes a difference. It’s interesting that you experienced the opposite.

For me it was about looking more like myself after surgery.

That's a ton of surgery and she looked obese, which comes with high risks.

Removing too much fat during lipo is really dangerous. I would bet that is what happened here.

If you like the size you're at but just want them higher, you may need to consider a small implant. Even with just a lift, you will lose a cup size.
