If you need a car for road trips or even long day trips, and you have ruled out teslas, get a hybrid instead. The range and charging networks will punish you.

I’m hoping this will get better - I need a range over 200 miles. The Cadillac Lyriq says it’s 300 which would work.

Fwiw we LOVE our Prime. Kids are in sports so interior is getting beat up, but perfect for driving electric locally and hybrid on road trips. I get about 650 miles per tank

I just drive my sister’s Lyriq. I have the BMW but I’m shocked I could buy two lyrics for the price of my car fwiw.

It’s an awesome car. It’s just hard to find fwiw.

We just bought a 2024 XC90 Ultimate Recharge. So far we are getting 1300 miles on a full tank of gas. No complaints here.

Superchargers opening to pretty much all brands this year. Not an issue anymore.
