Your PCP must be pretty competent, OP. Mine just send me to gastroenterologist was done with me.

Hope the lesion is benign OP! Have NAFDL here, some sense related to gallstones, metabolic disorder type links. For people talking about the liver enzymes being elevated: while it is good to have them not elevated you can still have Fatty liver without elevated enzymes and vice versa. It’s unfortunately not very dispositive. An ultrasound can pick up fatty liver pretty easily and relatively inexpensively. Though to diagnose stage (ie level of inflammation process-NAFDL, NASH, cirrhosis etc) can involve a liver biopsy which has its one inherent risks so not often the course of action unless other risks apply. NAFDL is thought to be widely prevalent and often many people have it without knowing. Mine was found incidentally when treating gallstones. Just something to keep in mind. My Pubmed and other research (taking into account your own unique health circumstances) shows support for taking milk thistle, berberine (a root type herb similar to turmeric), coffee, limit alcohol, reduce/limit meds that may affect liver more-ie Tylenol, take lower dosage of meds and only titrate up as needed, hydrate, lose weight if applicable.
