His former Chief of Staff is supporting Blair.
Add that to the fact that none of his colleagues support him and this guy has so many red flags.
When the people that know you best won’t support you that’s a problem.
When your colleagues have so little faith in your leadership that they are willing to speak out publicly against you like Navarro did in the Post that is a problem and it shows that they don’t even believe that Riemer has a political future in this county or state.
I suspect after he loses and tries to run again there will be stories. Folks are being polite now but I doubt they will feel similarly generous in the future.
Good point. Why isn't Jawando supporting him? They have been partners on a lot of legislation. Has Riemer endorsed Jawando?
Because Jawando is not a supply sider and thinks Riemer’s developer subsidies are wasteful. Riemer jumped on some of Jawando’s issue because it’s where Riemer thought the party was heading. I don’t think Riemer believes any of the positions except the supply side economics.

He’s definitely splitting the anti-Elrich vote. That’s all that matters. Riemer was never going to win because people who pay even a little attention know he’s terrible.
It’s interesting because in the poll numbers in the other thread, the percentages supporting Elrich and Blair were awfully similar to the share of the vote they got in 2018. So I’m curious who voters who supported other candidates last time around are supporting in this election. Maybe they are split between Reimer and undecided, although it’s probably not that simple.
Elrich is in at least one highly credible poll up to 41% of the vote.
Riemer is likely capturing a big chunk of former Leventhal and Berliner voters. So if you want to know why he is not moving the needle, that’s the reason.
There is no hidden or secret Riemer vote that will surprise everyone on Election Day. There is no Riemer “movement”. He will finish third.

That's what he is a politician. He conned you. He made you think he cares.
But trust me, he probably doesn't even remember what he said, or what he agreed to supporting, in his conversation with you. Because he will literally say anything.
He conned you. He's the worst

Once you get most the campaigning, and actually talk to him, its very clear that he just doesnt care. Well, I guess he cares about the election, and getting your vote. But he doesnt care about the issue, just about convincing you.
I can't stand Elrich. But I'll give him credit: he's not a two-faced politician. You know what he cares about and how he stands.
Reimer is the opposite. Which is why his hole campaign has been nothing but criticisms of his opponents.
Anonymous wrote:Hans Riemer is the most impossibly inarticulate and idiotic politician I have ever seen in my life. Here he is promoting support from a writer who is famous for getting fired for writing some very anti-Semitic stuff.
