It's not about the number of times. It's the academic readiness/maturity and sometimes quality of prep.

If taking the test six times did not consume the kid's time from other activities, then yes go ahead. Junior year is a busy year with tons of stuff to do, GPA, extracurriculars, sports. Very difficult to manage it well.
