Did you see Stefanik’s tweet? Have you seen Tucker Carlson spouting replacement theory for years? Donald Trump “very fine people one both sides”? It’s the GOP. The loving embrace Kyle Rittenhouse received from the GOP? The GOP embraces violent extremists.
And after 9/11, people were hyperventilating whenever a muslim said something even marginally critical of the US's policies in the middle east. Some of the comments are crazy, yes. But this idea that people side with extremsists of ANY political stripe is completely insane. I dont think every democrat wants to shoot congressmen playing softball and I can assure most republicans dont see that loser in buffalo as being on their side.

"Both sides" aren't committing mass shootings based on racist ideology. It is one side that keeps doing it. And for reasons I do not understand, very few Republicans are willing to speak out against the racist underpinnings of this crime.
Um, did you read 13:43's post and click on those links? And the Steve Scalise shooter was absolutely a LWNJ domestic terrorist. Spare us all.

Political parties are organizations that do not have “beliefs” at all. Only people can have them. Just like games don’t have “integrity”; only the players can. But I don’t think you are saying that. I think you are saying the replacement theorists aren’t true Republicans. They are. The GOP is a membership organization. It’s positions are whatever it’s leaders say they are. The same way that today’s GOP does not have the same principles as it did under Abe Lincoln, which was different from Teddy Roosevelt, which was different again from Ike, and then again Reagan and Bush. Tucker Carlson has used it over 400 times on his show. If you expect me to swallow that TC is not a shill for the GOP, then you’re dumber than a bag of hammers. TC has been defended by Trump and Trumpies like Matt Gaetz and Stefanik.

Not OP but I think they mean the Republican Party/donor class & right wing media. The party HAS changed. Look how moderate Stefanik has embraced the racist MAGA element.
If you personally identify as Republican you may want to look to see if your values align with the MAGA Republicans who are the dominant faction. When you vote for GOP, you’re voting for the party.
