Obergefell:
Clearly, Roe was not well argued. It's faulty, and this is why it's going to go down.
This is not the end of the abortion issue or any other issue that relies on the 14th Amendment. There are better arguments, but they will take time.
I don't think gay marriage, contraception will go anywhere. Do we want to return to dial phones?
Yes, the crazy right wants us to go back to the 19th century, but that won't happen. Abortion is different because it involves a fetus.
You are making so many excuses for inexcusable people.
Embryos. When women who don’t want to be pregnant find out they’re pregnant, they try to get un-pregnant as fast as possible. Most abortions are embryos. For all non-medical reason abortions that happen later, the reason they end up having later abortions is because forced birthers have made it far harder to get an earlier abortion. If you get wobbly about fetuses, your wobble is with the women-haters who have tried to put early abortion out of reach.
The forced birther party is already going after birth control.
LGBTQ+ will definitely be targeted by the GOP. If the GOP wins in November and then in 2024, slavery will likely come back. It’s in the Constitution, after all, which means that reactionary regressives like the GOP think it should come back. After all, women aren’t entitled to rights because it’s not in the Constitution.
