That's totally untrue. There was a Daily right before the presidential primaries that focused on Arlington, specifically, and how NOVA Dems were decidedly for Biden and NOT for Bernie. I'd wager to bet that 95% of the Democrats on this forum are fiscal moderates and socially liberal.
+1. Just look at the last two presidential primaries, where the more moderate candidate swept all of Northern Virginia. In Arlington, which is by far the most liberal of the Northern Virginia localities, voters went for Clinton and Biden by a 2-to-1 margin over Sanders.

As Virginia becomes more developed the republicans are forced out. It happens everywhere. When you live off grid in the woods the republican seem appealing till you actually need services. Like electricity, sewers, etc. At that point “owning the libs” just does not get you very far.

I agree with the former, but am increasingly coming to doubt the latter.
That's just it. You have Democrats and then you literally have fascists. I didn't particularly like George Bush Jr. but he was sane, and I think he did genuinely want to not rip our country apart. But Republicans don't want moderates anymore. They want fascists. I don't know where the moderate Republicans went?

Read this thread again and see if you and the others are willing to accommodate others. I truly believe the future of the party is Abigail Spangenberger and not AOC. If not, I will weigh my alternatives.
Is this really up for debate. Most Virginia Democrats are much more Abigail Spanberger than AOC. That's why they voted for Biden and not Bernie. Most American Democrats are. But then why aren't most American Republicans more Mitt Romney than Donald Trump?
I agree with the former, but am increasingly coming to doubt the latter.

Oh amazon came to NY.. they are all over the place with a facility in every other town in metro area......And without giving in to all the tax break demands. Take that Amazon. Pay your taxes.
